Summer 2011

Join us at Goodland to celebrate the 4th of July holiday weekend. Rent a cabin, set up a campsite or just relax for the day by our large pool. Enjoy our hot tub and sauna as well.

On Saturday, July 2nd, we will hold our 13th annual Stanley Cup pool race at 2 PM. The event commemorates our former member, Stanley, who exercised by walking laps in the pool.

Ceremonies begin with our parade of past champions. The competition consists of preliminary heats followed by a final race between heat winners. An award ceremony follows where all finalists receive prizes. Bring your pool shoes and join us at 2:00.

Following the Stanley Cup, several members are having a FREE holiday cookout in the picnic area. ALL ARE WELCOME! Complimentary hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, and watermelon will be provided. Bring your own beverage and join us at 3:00 PM.

In case of rain, both events will be held on Sunday, July 3rd. Hope to see you on July 4th weekend!

Be Naked Yoga with Beth Nolan at Goodland Country Club during the 2011 summer season! Beth will be available every other weekend for Massage Therapy, Health Kinesiology, Spiritual Dowsing and Naked Yoga. Beth’s wholesome philosophy in our awareness and acceptance of our naked bodies, without self-consciousness and without erotic intentions, allows us to celebrate the body fully – with reverence, joy and abandon.
